Is it possible to use output 6 on the PP2+ with the Flyrig?

IF I'm reading it correctly, the manual says: Dip Switch ON (away from normal) gives you 12v and 200ma+, so that should work, but I feel like there's something I'm missing...

We haven't tested this setup to know for sure it will be OK. Outputs 5 and 6 are not regulated when switched away from Normal so we do not know for certain that the Fly Rig will see the 12V it wants.

What we know for certain will work reliably is to use a Current Doubler Adapter (the one with the Green end) to combine any two of outputs 1-4 with the corresponding DIP Switches set away from Normal.

I hope that helps!

I thought the RK5 V2 was 9 volt??? (with the 1st generation / version being 12V)

I have an RK5-V2 on the way, and a X4 on order from Sweetwater, and went ahead and ordered the voltage doubler just in case...

Thanks for clarifying!

Yes, the newer FlyRig models are 9V now. (The thread you found here probably pre-dates that being the case ;) )

Your RK5 FluRig v2 will power directly from any output on your Pedal Power X4 using one of the included all black standard barrel cables... No Problem!

p.s. With two 9V Outputs, the Voltage Doubler will yield 18V and certainly should NOT be used with any model of the FlyRig series. The above suggestion that you are responding to was to use our Current Doubler Adapter (the one with the Green end) connected to two 12V/100mA Outputs on a Pedal Power 2+ to get 12V @ 200mA for an original version "12V" FlyRig.
