Hi. I currently have a Pedal Power 2 Plus and minimal knowledge of electronics. Every output on my 2 Plus is being used to its fullest (i.e., the mA's are maxed out and/or I'm using an output splitter). I'm also using the courtesy auxiliary AC outlet to power my Qtron +, which is running off an adapter since it requires 24v (35 mA). I'm looking to add the Walrus Audio ACS1, which requires 9v (300mA). Would it be safe/wise to power this AND the QTron using the auxiliary outlet and some sort of small power bar that would accommodate the two adapters? Would that fry anything or cause noise issues? If that's not feasible, I could kick one of my pedals off my board and make that output 12v - is there any reason why a voltage doubler (like the Trutone) that can do 12 to 24v would be problematic to use as a means of boosting the voltage to power the QTron? I know you sell voltage doubler cables, but I can't sacrifice an additional output.
Thanks for your help!
Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Yes, it's perfectly fine to use a power strip/extension cord, etc. plugged into the AC courtesy outlet to then power both of the effect pedals.

Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Thanks for your help! Also, is there any reason not to use a voltage doubler (like the one from Truetone) which can double the voltage of a single output rather than combining two outputs?
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Assuming it works to your satisfaction, it's fine to use that type of voltage doubler. Note however that voltage doublers of that type will generally reduce the available current capacity (to half or less).

Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Sorry, one last question (I hope). I just wanted to confirm that the mA draw on the pedals powered through a power bar plugged into the AC courtesy outlet does not matter. So one could hypothetically power a fewr of 500 mA pedals?
Thanks yet again.
Thanks yet again.
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus Aux outlet usage
Yes. You could easily power a dozen such high current pedals from the AC courtesy outlet (with some type of power strip/extension cord, etc.)
