How to Power My Maxon Compressor Pedal

Post by mgeba321 »

I recently purchased the Medium Dingbat pedal board and am trying to get the power sources all wired up correctly.

What is the recommended way to power the Maxon Compressor pedal. Here is a link to the pedal: https://maxonfx.com/collections/reissue ... compressor

The Website list the suggested power as:
Power Supply: 9V Manganese dry cell battery (S-006P) or special AC adaptor

Power Voltage: DC9 V (Battery) / DC10 V (AC-adaptor)

Current Consumption: 11 mA (9V) / 12 mA (10 V)

AC Adaptor: AC210N (option) Input: AC120V Output: DC9V/200 mA Center - / Sleeve +)

Should I just be using the standard identical barrel connector (center negative) that came with the pedal or do I need to do something different?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, simply the standard configuration is fine.

To power the Maxon Compressor use any 9VDC output with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Cheers!
