Pedal Power X8 and Line 6 DL4

I have my Line 6 DL4 plugged into the pedal power x8 using the cable cord with the red head and it seems to be working just fine however I know there is the 12v versus 9v issue....I just want to make sure what I am doing is correct and won’t damage the gear or do I need an additional piece like a converter etc?

Powering the DL4 as such will not damage anything but normally when the DL4 is powered with DC power (instead of 9VAC), 12VDC is required. That said... if it seems to be working without issue, it should be fine to continue to do so.
