Boomerang III Phrase Sample - again....

Post by sigitar »

I have already asked how to power the Boomerang III and Mr. John Clarke told me that I can use the "current doubler cable" with the outputs 5 and 6 on the PP2+
is this the right cable? http://www.thomann.de/at/voodoo_lab_y18_volt_kabel.htm
it doesn't matter that I have 18V then ?

another theory:
can I use the 12V 300mA from the ISO5 for my boomerang?
anyhow it works with the eventide timefactor...

thanks
Sigi

The cable you have linked is the Voltage Doubling cable, you will need the Current Doubling cable. This is a fairly new cable and it is not yet on our site so likely nobody else has it set up with easy internet ordering just yet. If you contact the Voodoo Lab dealer of your choice via email or telephone, or even in person, they will be able to order it for you if they do not yet have it in stock. You can even order the Current Doubling cable directly from us by calling or writing to info@voodoolab.com.

We can even make a custom length cable for your needs if you like which also can be purchased directly from Voodoo Lab or ordered through any Voodoo Lab dealer. Also, there is a new adapter cable that will combine two outputs into a cable mounted jack that you would connect the standard cable of your choice too in order to connect your pedal.

I hope that helps!
