has anyone had any luck powering the pigtronix ep-2 with any voodoo lab product?
its power supply has 18vdc 300mA
do pedals always need all the current supplied from their power supplies? is there anyway to find out?

You should have no trouble powering the EP-2 if you use an 18V Y cable connected to a Pedal Power 2+ on outputs 5 and 6 switched to Normal. In this case, you will have an 18V output with about 500mA available.
Not many devices do actually draw the maximum current that the supplied adapter is capable of providing.
