Digitech Trio Plus and Voodoo Labs X4

I just bought a Digitech Trio Plus for my Nano+ practice board powered by a Voodoo labs X4.

The board is currently setup with a Polytune mini (44 mA), Whammy Ricochet
(235 mA), JHS Muffuletta (4 mA), JHS Twin Twelve (34 mA), Flashback Mini (100 mA) and Hall of Fame mini (100 mA).

I currently have them setup in pairs with splitters with my Boss RC3 ran off the board on the 4th slot.

My question is, can I power the Trio plus off of the fourth slot instead without issues?

No, since Trio+ requires about 800mA.

To power the Trio+ with Pedal Power X4 use a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP in two 9V outputs with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Cheers!

I got it in the mail yesterday. It tests at around 450mA. With the X4, I have the polytune & muffuletta, twin twin twelve & hof reverb ran on two ports. The trio on the third and it works perfectly. Played it for over two hours without a hiccup.

Thanks for the response though.

Hmm... that's surprising as the Trio+ manual specifies 800mA and 7.2 watts. Whereas, the Trio (not Trio+) manual specifies 500mA and 4.5 watts.

To be certain, it is the Trio+ you are powering and not the Trio, correct?

Yes it is. I have changed the board this weekend. It is now setup Polytune mini & JHS TwinTwelve on a one plug split to them, Keeley Caverns v2 and the Trio Plus and a Boss Mini Katana on the last plug. No issues at all. Probably played 5 hours since Friday. I recorded multiple songs and sequenced them. Never hiccuped once.

I've had conversations with several people since posting this. They haven't had any issues either.
