ISO-5 and x4

I already have a x4 and just ordered an ISO-5. What is in the x4 expander kit that's not in the x4? Do I need a particular cable to run from the ISO-5 12 volt out to the x4 DC input?
All that is needed to power X4 from ISO-5 12V output is a cable, and... it's included in the X4 Expander Kit.
Included with the X4 (but not the X4 Expander Kit) is a 12VDC 1000mA power adapter to power the X4 without the need for another power supply.
