PP2+ & Boss RC-500 Looper

Post by GiankyBoy85 »

Hey

Anyone out there know if I can power the RC-500 off the PP2+? Looked online, and can't find a definitive answer. Any help much appreciated Thanks!

Yes.

To power the RC-500 with Pedal Power 2 Plus, use a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP in outputs 4 and 5 (or 6 and 7), DIP switches set normal and one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Cheers!

I love my Voodoo Lab power supplies!!!

Can I use the PPAP adapter with the Pedal Power X4 for the Boss RC-500? The first two outputs go to a voltage doubler for the Cali76 by Origian Effects.

On the Pedal Power 2 Plus, is it ok to use the current doubler to the RC-500 from Outputs 5 and 6, or is this too much power? I imagine it will only draw what it needs, but I wanted to make sure. Thank you.

You could use the current doubler adapter with the X4, but... there is no need. To power the RC-500 with Pedal Power X4, simply use any of the 9VDC output with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

To power the RC-500 with Pedal Power 2 Plus, use a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP in outputs 4 and 5 (or 6 and 7... or, 5 and 6 is fine too), DIP switches set normal and one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.
