Torpedo CAB M and PP2+

Post by jmsyng »

Hey friends. I'm wondering if I can power my Two Notes Audio Engineering Torpedo CAB M (12VDC/200mA) with my Pedal Power 2 Plus.

Will using the current doubler adapter on outputs 5 and 6 with the DIP switches away from Normal give me the power I need?

Thanks!

Yes.

To power the Torpedo C.A.B with Pedal Power 2 Plus, use a Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP in outputs 5 and 6, DIP switches set away from normal and with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Note, if the actual current draw is only 200mA (I thought it was closer to 300mA), the current doubler adapter is not necessary. Simply use output 5 or 6, DIP switch set away from normal with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Cheers!

From the manual:

Mains power adaptor DC Jack 2.1mm, negative center
Input voltage: 12V DC
Power: approx. 2 W
Current draw: 140mA typical, 200mA max

Guess I won't need the Current Doubler! Thanks so much.
