If Voltage is correct, does a small difference in mA matter?

If my pedal says it needs 1500 mA (9VDC), is there any issue using my VooDoo Labs ISO 5 with the 1400 mA terminal?
This is a Digitech SDRUM pedal, and it seems to work fine...
And the Digitech power supply does not seem to be available anymore...

Not at all, the pedal probably only uses half of that. If the pedal draws more than the Pedal Power 2+ can put out, the Pedal Power with switch that pedal off to protect itself, just as it does with a short circuit.

If the SDrum has been working without issue powered from the Pedal Power ISO-5 9V 400mA (not 1400mA) output, it is most certainly fine to continue powering it as such.
Also, indeed the actual current draw of the SDrum is far less than 1500mA (and closer to 400mA).
