Let me start by saying I know next to nothing about how any of this stuff works.

I picked up a Digitech Jamman Stereo looper in order to trigger samples with my foot. The pedal came with a 9 volt aftermarket power supply which didn't work with the pedal. I tried it with a few of the 9 volts that I have as well as the ones from my voodoo labs ISO 5 pedal power. And none of those worked either.

So I plugged in a 12 volt adapter from a TC helicon pedal I have and lo and behold.....it worked. But I can't imagine it's good for it.

On the pedal above where the plug goes in it reads 9VDC 1.3A

Upon looking more into this pedal a lot of people were having the same sorts of issues and the responses that I came across didn't help me at all.

Is there a way to run this off of my pedal power? I have an 18 volt and a few 9 volt spots open (The 12 volt is being used to power the extender)
Is there an adapter or something that will convert the 18 volt into the proper voltage or at least into a 12 volt?

The reason is because of its high current requirements.

The Jamman Stereo Looper requires about 1000mA and as such cannot be powered from the Pedal Power ISO-5 DC outputs.

As for the 12V TC adapter... 12V may or may not be okay to use too, but that is a different issue and I cannot specify (you'd likely need to inquire with Digitech to confirm).
