Output Splitters stopped working on VL PP3+

Hi, I have had a VL PP3+ for the past several months and a few days ago the VL output splitters have stopped working.
I have 3 of these attached to the 12 outputs = 15 in total.
I've checked the outputs are working fine with a single lead.
But i've found with the splitters, one of the leads works, but the lead with the white marking strip is not working.
So i decided to order some more VL splitter adapters, but I've just tried them and the issue remains.
All my pedals are 9v and rated under 100mA, except the Boss DD200 (225mA) which is not using a splitter.
the 200mA outputs are set to 9v, and do not have splitters in.
Does this mean there is an issue with my PP3+, or is there a limit on the number of splitters I can run?
If so, would I be better to just add an X4 extender?
