Goodrich LDR2 w/ 24v opperation??

Anyone have an idea if my PP2+ can power my Goodrich LDR2 volume pedal if I have a 3 to 1 adaptor? Maybe I'd only need a 2 to 1 and try running it on 18v? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Also, where can you purchase these special power cables?

We have not been able to get a reliable answer about the actual current draw of this pedal. Unfortunately, that means I cannot really give you an answer.

A Voltage Doubler cable will combine any two outputs on a Pedal Power 2+, but the outputs used, and their DIP switch positions will dictate the maximum current available and the voltage.
Any two of outputs 1-4 will provide up to about 100mA. With the DIP switches set to Normal the combined output would be 18V. With the DIP switches set away from Normal the combined output would be 24V.
Outputs 5 and 6 will provide up to about 250mA. With the DIP switches set to Normal the combined output would be 18V. With the DIP switches set away from Normal these outputs become unregulated... this means that the voltage will depend on the current draw.

I hope that helps!

Thanks! That explained a lot actually! Here's the specs on the stock power supply that comes with the LDR2 (as per the sticker on the back of the supply):

INPUT: 100-120V-
0.4A, 60Hz

OUTPUT: V1: +24V 0.42A

MAX TOTAL OUTPUT POWER 10W

So, can I buy these cables from Voodoo Lab directly or should I just make them myself? I'd rather order them if possible. Thanks for your help

To power your LDR2 use a voltage doubler cable (part# PPAY $6.00ea.) in any two of Pedal Power 2 Plus outputs, DIP switches set NORMAL and a 2.1mm reverse polarity cable (part# PPREV $3.50ea.).
