Yes, you can use the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet as you have described.

You can connect a power strip to the courtesy outlet for use with multiple pedals/effects and their adapters.

It may also be used to power an additional Pedal Power 2 Plus, ISO-5, Pedal Power Digital or Pedal Power AC.

The courtesy outlet is NOT designed for use with power amplifiers or other high power equipment.

Cheers!

I’m currently trying to power a TC Nova System via the courtesy outlet on a PP2+ using one of these:

Although it powers up, there doesn’t seem to be any output from it. However, when I power up the Nova via a wall wart, it works fine.

Any ideas?

Not sure how you are using a wall wart to power the Nova system, but I guess that isnt really the point here...
The same IEC cord used to power the Pedal Power 2+ will work to power the Nova System. I don't see why it wouldn't work with the cable linked above.

Are both the Pedal Power 2+ and the Nova System mounted to something conductive, like a metal pedalboard?

If you set it up using the Pedal Power 2+ and the linked cable and confirm that it gets no sound, does the sound come back if you pull the main power cord out of the Pedal Power 2+ and plug it directly into the Nova System without changing any other cables?
