PP2+ Courtesy Outlet

Hey guys,

Is the Courtesy Outlet on the PP2+ isolated? I have a surge protector plugged into it that powers an Eventide Time Factor. The Time Factor is plugged into a switch box that switches the delay between the front of the amp and the amp's FX Loop and I'm getting some bad ground loop hum. The rest of my pedals are plugged into the outlets of the PP2+, some of them are daisy chained and some of them are on their own outlets. Any advice?

Thanks!

The Courtesy Outlet is simply a continuation of the mains voltage input... It can be thought of as "isolated" from the DC outputs. The Courtesy Outlet itself cannot be the cause of this problem. I would suggest stripping the setup down to the simplest scenario that still yields the problem. My first test would be to start with just the amp and the front end/effects loop switch box... simply since I don't know exactly what it is.
