Strymon and pedal power 2 (not +)

Post by croznest »

Does anybody know if its possible to power strymon pedals from the pedal power 2 (not+) using a current or voltage doubling cable?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated

The Pedal Power 2 (NOT 2+) does not provide enough current to power any of the Strymon pedals except for the OB.1 (which can be powered from any output set to Normal). Even when using a Current Doubler cable, you will still be under the 250mA/300mA recommended for any of the other Strymon pedals to date.

Do you already own the Pedal Power 2?

Yes i own a Pedal power 2 and a 2+ and 3 strymon pedals (Lex, Flint & El capstan) + the TC Helicon GTX

I managed to get it working by doing the following

pedal power 2+ powers all 3 Strymons, out puts 5 Lex, 6 Flint and 7&8 for El Capistian with the current doubler

pedal power 2 powers the TC Helicon GTX with another current doubler
