Can I use both a voltage and current doubler?

Post by Texas Jake »

I have a PP2+ with 2 Strymons connected to outputs 5&6 and a TC SCF using the courtesy outlet. I'd like to add a Diamond ML2 (18v, 160ma, pos tip).

So my question is, can I put voltage doublers on outputs 1&2 and 3&4 and then connect those two outputs to a current doubler (phase flip) to create one 18v, 200ma output? I know this would use up 4 outputs but they're available.

Related, if that would work, can VooDoo simply make me a custom cable that would combine all this into one cable (4 inputs > 1 output)?

It should be possible to stack the adapters, but I would want to be sure it actually works before committing to making a custom cable.

I hope that helps!
