I'm hoping a VL staffer can help me.
I'm currently running two pedal switchers controlled by a commander.
The amp is a red-knob Dual Showman Reverb and the cab is a Mesa 2x12.
The first PS — tuner, comp, distortion, fuzz — runs straight to the amp.
The second — Fulltone MDV2, EHX QTron, Modfactor, MoogMF104Z — is in the amp FX loop.
I now have a second Dual Showman and 70s Dual Showman 2x15 cab which I want to run as a dry rig. Or wet, depending on which rig is best suited to the job.
I'm happy with the wet sound, which has taken copious amounts of experimentation to arrive at.
What is the easiest way for me to split the signal to achieve the ultimate wet/dry rig without spending stupid amounts of cash?
The Fulltone ABY looks good but I'd be keen to hear your thoughts.
Many thanks in advance.

So is this setup that you just want a second amp that will have none of the effects or will it have just the front end effects?

Hey John.
I'd like the option of running 100% dry or purely front-end FX. I've almost bought the Fulltone box but not just yet.

I ended up buying a Lehle P Split II, a passive high-impedance signal splitter, and it works a treat -- great fidelity and zero hum from either amp. Recommended.
