Sparkle drive..... For Bass????

Post by Hoppo75 »

Hi folks. I'm a bassist of 25 years and I'm looking to step into the world of pedals. While there are loads of bass specific gear, my friend (Conrad Korsch, Rod Stewarts bassist no less) uses a Voodoo labs analogue chorus as part of his set up. I bought a sparkle drive for my dad some years ago and I adore everything about it, and as I'm looking for something to add a bit of overdrive/tube like warmth, I wonder if this would be a worthy addition to my own setup. Opinions and thoughts would be grateful :-)

Our in house Bass Player/Shipping Manager uses a Sparkle Drive in his rig and loves it... in fact, he has two!
