Powering Boss pedal case with Voodoo Pedal Power 2+
Powering Boss pedal case with Voodoo Pedal Power 2+
I have a full Boss BCB6 that's powered by a PSM5. Is it possible to plug the Boss into the Voodoo, and if so, do I need to use the courtesy outlet on the back, or can I use one of the 9v outlets on the front? I realize that the Boss case pedals wouldn't be isolated/noise-free either way. But I'm also wondering if I can insert additional pedals to the Boss daisy chain, even tho some of them are powered by the Voodoo Lab. Thank you so much for any help.
Re: Powering Boss pedal case with Voodoo Pedal Power 2+
The PSM-5 came with a 200mA power supply, so you should be able to use Output 5 or 6 with the corresponding DIP Switch set to Normal to provide power. If you are currently using the original PSA-120 to power this whole board then you should be fine.
I would think you would also be fine to power the PSM-5 (and the Boss pedals connected to it) as well as other pedals from a Pedal Power 2+ and put the whole audio path into the master loop of the PSM-5... I cant see any reason this would cause trouble.
I hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I'll try your suggestion. Unfortunately I broke my wrist this morning, so it may be a while. But I appreciate your help very much.
