I guess I will try at the front, middle and end of the chain and let you know how it turns out.

Do you need a buffer at all? Are you running extra long cables?
I suppose I'd vote for at the end, or maybe between the Micro Vibe and Sparkle Drive, but I probably wouldn't want it in front of everything.
