Use of current doubling adapter with different power outputs

Post by EddieMc234 »

I've seen parts of this addressed on the forum, but I'd like to be clear, so sorry if this is a repeat...
I'm trying to power the following effects with the use of one PP2+ power supply:
Strymon Timeline Delay 9V 300 mA
Boss DD-20 Giga Delay 9V 200 mA
MXR M300 Reverb 9V 240 mA
DigiTech Chorus Factory CF-7 4.5V ? mA (not made clear in product info, do you know any more about it's power requirements?)

*My current plan for the Strymon is to use a current doubling adapter (going out of outputs #4 (100 mA) and #5 (250 mA). Switch in the NORMAL position?
*I plan to use output #6 for the MXR M300 Reverb
*I am also planning to use a current doubling adapter (going out of outputs #1 (100 mA) and #2 (100 mA) for the Boss DD-20 Giga Delay. Switch in the NORMAL position?
*Finally, I am just planning to use outputs #3 (100 mA) for the DigiTech Chorus Factory CF-7. Am I correct that I should just use a 9v power supply even though it says it only needs 4.5v?
What are your thoughts? Thank you! - Ed
