Micro Vibe question

Post by superbird »

Does anybody that owns a Micro Vibe find it creates too much bass when used? I find that i have to really increase my treble if i want the effect to sound decent. Doing so then makes my normal tone too trebly when the unit is turned off. Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust or modify this? It would be great if it had less bass.

Do you experience the same behavior when connecting your guitar directly to the Micro-Vibe and the Micro Vibe directly to the amplifier? Where is the Micro Vibe located in your signal chain? Experiment with the placement to hear how it changes depending on what else is in front of the Micro Vibe. Good luck!

It does change when placed in different locations in my chain. I have it as the second pedal in my chain after my tuner. It seems to get more bass when placed later in the chain. However, it still seems really bassy no matter where i put it. Is there any way to mod the pedal to produce less bass?

Yes, mine does as well.

I stopped using it live for this reason.
