Micro vibe effect fades

Post by jonbarry »

Hi,

My micro vibe sounds great, until I turn the speed all the way up and then the effect just dissapears no matter what the intensity setting. Usually i just use a medium setting but it would be nice to use it on the fast setting ocasionally. Any ideas?

The Micro Vibe is rather sensitive to its input voltage. The higher Intensity settings can crash out if the battery is low or the power supply used is unregulated and loaded down. Try powering the Micro Vibe with a fresh battery or on a regulated power supply and solo the pedal. It would be best to connect your guitar directly to the Micro Vibe and the Micro Vibe directly to the amp. If you use a daisy chain type power supply, disconnect all the other pedals for this test. Let us know what you find.

Installed a brand new PP3 Battery and hey presto the speed is back! Must have had a dud battery in there from day one. So if your speed on the Micro vibe dissapears CHANGE THE BATTERY! (duh)
