Online registration is coming... in the mean time you can certainly write to info@voodoolab.com if you would prefer.

I hope that helps!

I wondered the same thing. I unboxed a Dingbat medium with a Mondo supply yesterday.

Silly question time- Do most users put the fuzzy side of the velcro on the board or the pedals? I'm sure it doesn't matter but still am curious.

Best, Danny D

Online warranty is a welcome thing. Re: Velcro... I wondered the same thing, and came to the conclusion that I personally preferred the fuzzy side on the pedals. I like the more uniform side with the ‘teeth’ on the board.

Hi Danny D,
I put the the carpet side on the board and the hooks on the pedals.
If something gets dropped on the board, It's easy to just brush it off the carpet
and nothing to hang up on. My personal Preference

Thank you for the reply! I understand the aesthetic aspect that you're talking about.

That makes sense as well. It's all about preference. How about this one-- I just bought some 3M Dual Lock. Do you have any opinions about that product? Ultimately, it's all good, but since I'm new to the pedal board thing it's worth exploring all the opinions.

Thank you!

For Hook and Loop (Velcro) I like to put the soft side (the Loop) on the board and the rough side (the Hook) on the pedals. My main reason for this is that I like to still sometimes just goof with pedals on the floor and the hook side will keep pedals from moving around on carpet.

Now the mention of Dual Lock... in my opinion the clear Dual Lock is about the best fastener system you will ever use. I have used the SJ3560 type for many many years. Dual Lock mates to itself so there is no concern about which side goes where, and even with less surface area than Hook and Loop it often requires prying the two parts to break them free. Like I can hold a reasonable sized board up by holding only onto a pedal fastened with four 1" squares of Dual Lock. But what really makes the clear Dual Lock shine is the adhesive. The flexible adhesive will stick to pedals and boards very well but it is removable and rarely leaves any any residue behind, usually just a clean spot! And, it is often re-usable as long as you don't get too much of your finger oils on it when peeling it off.

An interesting discovery for anyone on a budget is that Dual Lock will grab onto the Loop side of Velcro amazingly well. Our demo boards are often done this way with the Loop side on the board and Dual Lock on the pedals. It still gives the full placement flexibility that you get from having the long strips of Velcro on the board (long strips get expensive fast with Dual Lock!) but the security that Dual Lock provides to keep pedals from "walking away" when nobody is looking. ;)

Just my $0.02 I suppose ;)
