Clarification about the switch of the Sparke Drive

Post by paolo.axe »

Hi, I'm new on this forum, I love your pedals.
In the past I had for 2 or 3 years a Sparke Drive but I noted problems on the switch, normally I used it for one or two gig/rehearsal per week as average.
My friend technician helped me to repair it with a lot of effort because the switch was soldered directly on the board.
Later I sold this pedal due to change instrumentation.
A lot of people I know in Italy had similar issue on Voodoo-Lab pedals.
Now I would like to re-buy it, but before proceed I want to be sure that this issue was solved definitivey, I think your pedals are supreme, but the swithing is a weak point, this pedal deserve a better component.
Take note I have a lot of pedal with a true-bypass switch very similar from many many years without similar problems.
Thank you very much for the feedback.

Paolo
