Sparkle Drive

Post by mstrum »

Like all tones on the 3 various samples for the Sparkle drive page. Can somebody give me idea how this is set. Perhaps this will give me some different ways to look at my SD. Thks

Here are some things you can do to get close to those clips.

Funky Drive: GAIN 11 o'clock, TONE 10 o'clock, CLEAN 1 o'clock
(Use the 2nd or 4th pickup position on a single-coil, Strat-style guitar)

Half Clean: GAIN full up, TONE 9 o'clock, CLEAN 11 o'clock
(Use the neck pickup on a single-coil, Strat-style guitar)

Texan Style: GAIN full up, TONE 9 o'clock, CLEAN off (fully counter-clockwise)
(Use the neck pickup on a single-coil, Strat-style guitar)

You can set the output VOLUME where you like it. Somewhere between 9 and 12 o'clock is probably fine.

Good luck,
