GCP update to display AxeFx tuner?

Is there any chance voodoo labs will come out with an update For the ground control pro to display the new tuner over midi the fractal audio's axefx has. I just saw that the RJM Matermind midi foot controller just came out with an update to display it?

There are no plans currently to support a tuner feed on the Ground Control Pro display.

I am not understanding why you would not due the upgrade for the tuner feed, your competition is. I am very much satisfied with the GCP and really do not want to buy another floor board just for the tuner feed, but I will.
