Hi all - I notice the MV boosts lows & attenuates highs... are there any internal adjustments? probably no mods (nothing listed on google). Love the sound - just would like to be heard in the mix. Thanks.

Do you hear any difference in the sound when changing the position of the Micro Vibe in your signal chain, or when using only the Micro Vibe as a test? What sort of pickups are you using?

Like Trower, Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour... it's a strat... and I'm using texas specials. It sounds dark even with only the MV and amp. My chain is... Vox 847A (true bypass) wah -> TC Polytune -> MicroVibe -> TC MojoMojo overdrive -> TC Dark Matter distortion -> Zoom passive volume pedal -> Ibanez TSdx -> Crate Palomino V50 input -> amp line-out to TC Flashback delay/looper -> TC Hall of Fame reverb to amp line-in... It sounds like it needs to be a little brighter so I won't disappear in the mix. It's kind of a muffled tone. I love the lush lows. In listening to Robin Trower I can hear his amp almost go into a feedback when the phase of his univibe cycles to its high tone. Mine won't do that. And yes, I could get my amp to feedback normally without the MicroVibe. I love the pedal though. It's 9VDC, simple controls, perfect size, great construction, etc. I know the schematic may be proprietary, but I would like to see it - just to see if changing a cap somewhere could make a difference. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I just got one (used) and found the same problem UNTIL I ran it on battery. Then it sounded great.
I tried several different 9v adapters and they all caused it to sound dark. The rate appeared to change with an adapter too.
Strange...
Any ideas?
I would like to be able to run it off an adapter.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I've just purchased a new Microvibe and it's exhibiting this exact same behavior. I was hoping someone had found a resolution by now. As it is, unfortunately the pedal is fairly unusable.

Even with the intensity all the way down, as soon as the pedal is engaged low frequencies appear to be boosted and the highs appear to be cut. I get the exact same result with a Strat, Tele or LP and same result if powered by battery or my PP2+. My other vibe pedal works fine in the same position though it doesn't play as nicely with my fuzz pedal. Effect order is vibe > fuzz > OD > boost > buffer > chorus > delay > verb > trem > amp.

I'd love to find a solution for this pedal as I like the overall sound of the effect. Any suggestions?
