I am the proud new owner of a Ground Control Pro - I like to look after my gear and am in the process of putting together a DIY pedalboard/flight case to house it. Are there any tips out there for fixing the pro to the wooden base of the pedalboard - I thought of removing the feet and applying velcro - is this a good/bad idea? Does the pro need space undernath to cool, for example....? ANy help gratefully accepted, cheers

You can certainly use 3M dual lock. We usually use part# SJ3560. Just make sure you get one that will bond well.

Another choice is to use regular hardware to attach it. You can remove the feet and use those holes for screws to the pedalboard. To remove the base and access the feet, you need to take out the screws on the base and 4 on top which require an Allen wrench.

My GCP was secondhand and on trying to remove the top screws, 2 loosened quite easily and the other 2 seem to be stuck. I am concerned that I have wrecked the Hex socket on the screws and may have reached a stalemate.

Would it be OK to try a tiny amount of wd40 to attempt to free the screws. I could always lean the unit over so that any run off is directed away from the internals. Is it possible to get new top screws?

Don't worry about replacement screws. PM me your address and we'll put a few in the mail. If you try WD-40, use a very small amount. Good luck!
