Analog Chorus Volume Boost

I love how this pedal sounds, I love the fact that it is true bypass, I love the size, the ease of use, etc. The one thing that I hate about it is the volume boost.

Is there anything that can be done about it? I truly wish this pedal had a volume control because that volume boost is about the only thing that makes this pedal lacking, and in some cases unusable.

I have Seymour Duncan Blackouts on my Explorer and it will send my amp into overdrive when the pedal is engaged. Help!!!

Thanks!

This is a trait of the CE-1 which the Analog Chorus is modeled after. The perceived volume boost is really a significant boost to some bass frequencies... either way there is a mod for it. We call it the Bass Mod and it will knock out these low frequencies which cause the perceived volume boost. Contact us so we can set up a time for you to return the pedal to us for the Bass Mod.

Its funny how the guitar playing community changes... a few years ago the "volume boost" was one of the things people liked about the Analog Chorus.
