tremolo speed mod to have a better spread

Hi,
I have a 4 knob voodoo lab tremolo that sounds great, but I'm only using the speeds with the speed knob between halfway and 3/4 open.
I often have to change the speed slightly between songs and like it is now, the speed knob is very sensitive, making it hard to do subtle adjustments, especially on a dark stage.
Before I start experimenting, can someone here tell me how I can mod the speed knob so it has a better/ smoother spread? I don't mind losing the really slow settings.
A different value of pot, another pot taper, change a resistor on the board or something else I didn't think of?

Thanks,
Fabian

This can be done if you can find a Dual 100K Reverse Audio (Reverse Logarithmic) pot that will fit inside the chassis. We use 16mm pots but you may be able to squeeze something else in there.

I hope that helps!
