Hey guys,
1st post. Already got loads of great advice here so I took the plunge and signed up.
Just wondering, is it alright to attach a pedal to the top of the PP2+?
I have 2 on my board (1 mounted underneath and 1 on the top). It’s a Pedaltrain and the only reason I have 1 on the top is I run a number of pedals (Fulltone) at 18V and I have 2 Strymon pedals that need the 5&6 outlets. Easiest way to power all my stuff is with 2 power supplies. Also, the one on top allows me to remove it and bring it and a few pedals to smaller gigs/jam sessions.
I’ve searched and seen loads of topics on various forums that say it’s fine to use the PP2+ as a pedal riser and mount a pedal on top and some that say it can cause issues. I have a TC Spark Boost on top of mine which I kick on and off for solos and I was just wondering is it ok to keep it here or will constantly stepping on it damage the PP2+? For space it works really well and the PP is built like a tank. I’ve had no issues with noise or anything and the PP2+ is still like new.
I figured I’d ask the experts here and get a definitive answer.
Cheers!
Attaching pedals on top of PP2+????
Re: Attaching pedals on top of PP2+????
It should be no problem to use the Pedal Power as a riser, although some pedals can produce a hum when placed that close to a power supply so you may have to experiment if you hear a buzz with a certain pedal.
I hope that helps!

That's perfect. Thanks for your help. I've had no issue with noise yet anyways but I'll keep that in mind.
Thanks again.
