Hi
I just bought a Electra Dyna head and I want to control mode switching with GCX switcher and Ground Control Pro. I presume i need 2 loops.
Does anybody did that with a Electa Dyne ?
Does the clean vintage switch run as normally close or open ?
Does the lo hi switch run as normally close or open ?

Re: Controlling Electra Dyne head with GCX switcher and GCP
The Electra Dyne foot switch only has two buttons on it so, yes, you'll need two loops and an Insert cable, with has a TRS plug on one end for the amp and two TS plugs on the other end for the GCX.
I don't own an Electra Dyne, so can't tell you if the either of those switches are normally open or normally closed, but if it is of any help Page 2 of the Electra Dyne Manual references External Switch jacks on the rear panel, which I do not see anywhere on the rear panel illustration, but if they actually are on the amp they are supposed to "...respond to standard ¼” tip-to-ground latching logic." If they exist, and you want to use them, you won't need an Insert cable and can just use standard TS cables with these jacks.
