control switcher

Post by bigtrex76 »

Is there a list of amps that will and will not work with the Control Switcher? All my searches are not doing me justice.

Currently I have; a 5150 (1st series 1/4" channel/fx loop)
also a Blackstar ht club 50 head (1/4" channel/reverb)

Really I only need channel but the Fx Loop on the 5150 would be something.

None the less interested in buying this.

have a great day fellas

also curios if would work with the Rivera Knucklehead 55 or the thirty 12 combo. They both use a 7-pin looking midi connector?

As I understand it, if those heads use an external footswitch to change the amps channels via a midi type cable (the ends may have different pin configurations then standard midi cables) Voodoo labs will build you a midi cable that is compatible with that particular amp. I own a Randall RT 100 and they are building me a midi cable compatible with my head.I still didn't receive mine yet, they said 3 to 4 weeks at about $40,but in the end it should be worth it!
