Ground Control Pro - Gibberish Display

Hi guys,

I seem to be having an issue with my GCP's display showing gibberish characters on all of my presets. None of the numbers for the preset line up either. What use to be patch one numbered 01 is now 09. Seems like complete randomness! It's like this through out all of the patches and banks. I have had the unit for a few years with no issues up until now. I should also note that all of the text in the setup menus are fine.

From searching around here I have tried the following:
Powered with no midi cables, only with included power supply = Same Random Gibber-Jabber
Tried saving a new preset and it ends up doing the same.
I have also tried reinitializing memory via Utility, but at the very last prompt after "***Warning***", When I select "Yes", it gets stuck at "Working.. 8k".

Can anyone help?? Thanks.

To anyone interested. I ended up taking the unit apart and gently pushed down on each of the chips. I was then able to reinitialize the memory. Now it works fine!
