Hey everyone,
i've searched as much as i can for an answer but can't seem to find it.
I re-wired my rack today to organize and make it neater. I have a 7 pin to TRS taht is split with a Hosa YYP-136 to do amp switching and a ground control pro + GCX. Before i rewired it, I had loop 7 acting as the clean channel when turned on. Loop 8 was switching between the crunch and ultra channels. Below is how it was set up as far as the loops being active
All off - crunch channel
Loop 7 only on (with or without loop 8 on) - clean
Loop 7 off and loop 8 on - ultra
It literally is the exact opposite now. I have no idea what's going on, I think hte YYP cable is bad too becuase i have to be holding it for it to get sound to come thru and not short out. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Re: Peavey Triple XXX Switching issues
Sounds like there may be an issue with the cable, but if it's not working the way it used to I suspect when you re-wired it you didn't replicate the original connections exactly as they were.

Re: Peavey Triple XXX Switching issues
I'm thinking it may be an issue with the Y splitter. I have to kind of hold it for it to work. I'm hoping that's the only issue because I can't find another person/company that makes the triple x 7 pin to TRS cables. Does anyone know of anyone? FJAMods doesnt make them anymore.
