GCX not running

Hi there,
yesterday my gcx runs perfectly on a gig like always before, but today it's not working! When I switch it on, all status lights flashes up one time and sequently down from 8 to 1 and then - nothing! The active light is out and the gcx is off. Any suggestions? Maybe the power supply? It's urgent, I need it. Thanks for help from germany!!

this is exactly what a GCX will do if it does not get the startup message from a DMC/Voodoo Lab controller.

What controller are you using, and is it's MIDI Out connected to the GCX Pedal In?

I am having the same issue. Using a new GCX and a DMC GCX with a GC Pro. Leds run in sequence but active status never comes on. Can it be the midi cables?

This can absolutely be caused by a bad/failing MIDI cable. A cable that isn't inserted correctly into the Ground Control Pro MIDI Out can also cause this.

Another thing to check is that the GCX is enabled under the Expanders section in Setup Mode.
