Sending Midi NOTE command

I have a ground control pro and I am trying to use it with DMXIS - a DMX lighting control system.

The DMXIS system responds to bank changes on Channel 15 and 16 - any time a Midi note message is received it will go up a bank (channel 15) or down (channel 16).

I am hoping the GCP will allow me to send a midi note command on channel 15 followed by a preset command for preset #1. I do not see how to do this after reading the manual.

Any information would be great.

The Ground Control Pro does not send MIDI Note messages. You may want to look into a program like MIDI Translator to send the necessary commands if you are using the lighting software live.

Can the Ground Control Pro send a CC#32, followed by a standard MIDI Program Change?

(This is an alternative way to switch banks/presets in DMXIS. CC#32 is just a standard "MIDI Bank LSB" message)

Failing that, please feel free to suggest an alternative bank/preset switching method with a Ground Control Pro, and I'll add support for that in the next DMXIS release.

Currently the Ground Control Pro sends Program Changes and Control Changes. The CC messages are intended as on/off switches for switching functions or individual effects where the data value simply toggles between 0 and 127.

The next update to the Ground Control Pro software will include a bank change command for each named device. This can be set to CC# 0 or CC# 32 with the data value programmed within the preset.
