Hey Bro! Am thinking of buying the G-force used for 625$. Is that a good deal?

Also I noticed the outputs behind the G-force are diff from the Major 2.

That's a decent price if it comes with an Artist Card and Free Shipping; otherwise, you could probably save $100 or more getting one on eBay.

Both devices have Left and Right Balanced Outputs for use with either TS or TRS plugs, with the Left channel being identified for Mono use.

To clarify, i gotta use the "balanced outputs" "Left" and RIGHT" and use 1/4's to connect those 2 outputs to the GCX's loop send and return?

Also, they are selling the G-force for 600$ + 25 shipping. It only comes with the power cord. What do you think?

If you can help me find a cheaper option please let me know. Because I am tired of looking around and ALL the used ones I have found are 650$+... And I gave tried CR, Reverb, and ebay.

Also!
I bought the EP booster thinking I might need it for my rack, but then I found out the G force has a boost option for like +6dB's and what not, and also I could EQ my distortion pedal and put more mid's and a bit of treb so when I solo i can cut through the low freq's of the band.

So with your pro opinion, do I need the EP booster on my rack or NAH?

I just read this PM after i sent the other one. Thank you very much for the response, And to be honest I also agree I won't really need the Decimator G, just in case for the future I wanted to free up some space on the loops, but since I am taking the Tube screamer out, I will have 2 loops free. But I might keep it, idk yet, i need to so some sound checks.

Also, I know that we need to separate the power cables with the audio signal wires.

does that also applies to the pedals power wires and the patch cables from the Gouge L's? Do i need to separate them both with zip ties? or it doesn't matter when it comes from the power supply for the pedals?

It is always best to keep all of your power cables and signal cables isolated from each other whenever possible. If ever they do have to come in contact, so to speak, cross them at 90º angles.

when it comes to the whole 90 degree angle, i already knew this, but never understood what it meant. I am planning the order and places for my pedals, do you have any pictures that can show the 90 degree angle thing?

Also, when it comes to replacing pedals, and the custom lengths of the George L's, will it be a problem in the future? Like, the L's will be short or what not...?

I just wanna make a neat and clean job at wiring the shelve with the power and signal cables.

The 90º angle thing means, when routing your power cables and signal cables, if you need to cross them they should be perpendicular, at a 90º angle to each other just like a street intersection, as if your power cables were running north and south and your signal cables east and west or vice versa. Googling Pedal Board Wiring Diagram will get you tons of images you can sort through to find examples of this.

As for your custom cable lengths, you're on your own there. Only time will tell whether or not you'll be able to re-use your existing cables at some future point when you start swapping out old pedals for new ones.
