Can a Pedal Switcher (500mA) phantom power a 2nd Pedal Switcher AND a Ground Control Pro?

Thanks Olly

Hi there,
You would have to modify one of the pedal switchers as I have done to a GC Pro, join the power pin of the midi in and midi out plugs.

You would need to solder some wires in place to connect Pins 1 and 3 on the MIDI Out to Pins 1 and 3 on the MIDI In of the second Pedal Switcher.

The Pedal switcher can phantom power a GC Pro. So once the above modification has been done, it should work.

If the current is not high enough it will just cut out. Not sure if you can use a Pedal Power AC or similar to power it. Maybe John could enlighten us a bit🤷‍♂️
GCPro, GCX, Pedal Power 2+, Pedal Power AC.
And some other stuff.

Oops, not sure how I missed this one!

To confirm, no the Pedal Switchers do not accept Phantom Power, so no, you cannot power a second one and have it provide to the first one.

I seem to recall Pedal Switchers causing a buzz when powered on a daisy chain, but I no longer have two of them here to test this out.
