Can someone help me out here please? For some reason John Clark isn't responding. I'm considering buying a Liquid Foot Pro controller but would rather just keep my GCPro if I can get it to do what I need it to (ie additional cc's). Thanks!

Wow... I am sorry that you feel as if you have been ignored, however your question has actually been answered elsewhere on this forum. There is not an official release date nor is there yet an official new features release statement. As soon as there is you can bet it will be posted in the Announcements section immediately. For the release date I can only promise that it is coming very soon. I am testing the "funky stuff" out of this software to make sure you who have waited patiently since this information was leaked out against our wishes get a sound product. Can you answer me this: What specific features are you anxiously waiting for that your current Ground Control Pro does not cover?

Don't take it personal John. I had just noticed that you answered everyone elses inquiries yesterday other than mine so I bumped it to see if anyone else could help me out. I did a search on the topic previously but couldn't find anything that stated specifically what would be included in the update. If there is such a thread that exists and I missed it, my apologies.
To answer your question, I'm curious as to whether the update will include changes to the number of continuous controllers available per preset? Also, will there be any changes to the linking capabilities (ie syncing two GCPro's)?
Thanks!

There are a number of changes to the link modes. A Master/Slave setup will display changes made on either Ground Control Pro "station". This is useful for multiple stage locations or if a tech is also calling up presets. The other change is the addition of Instant Access mode where the buttons on a second Ground Control Pro become two banks of 12 Instant Access buttons that can be programmed to send with presets recalled on the first Ground Control Pro. I hope that helps!

John,
Regarding the "two banks of 12 Instant Access buttons that can be programmed to send with presets". Will these additional cc's be accessible with just one GCPro or will a second GCPro be neccessary? I understand that a second GCPro would be neccessary to have instant access(on/off) to the additional cc's but I'm wondering if I will be able to program to send with presets with just one GCPro?

Thanks!

There is no plan to add "blind" Control Change messages to the Ground Control Pro presets.
Let us try a different approach here... What are you trying to control that requires multiple Control Change messages sent out with the preset? Does this device allow the user to define the Control Change number and MIDI channel it responds to? There are up to 32 Control Change messages that can be sent with a Ground Control Pro (any SW version) preset... they are intended for controlling up to four GCX switchers, however there is no reason they cannot be used to control another device.

John,
I'm using a GCPro to control an Axess GRX4, CFX4 and a GCX. I'm using cc's 80-87 to control the GRX4 and CFX4. I need to be able to turn these on/off within a preset so I have the 8 cc buttons on the GCPro assigned to them. Now, I know I can activate GCX#2 on the GCPro to control the GCX and I believe the cc's will be 88-95. That said, how do I program the cc's to be either on or off within a preset? Thanks!

Once you activate a GCX within Setup Mode, it becomes available within your presets. Call up any Ground Control Pro preset you want to edit then press-and-hold the Edit button, release it once the screen changes. Repeatedly press the Bank Down button until you see the GCX# you want to program the loop status for... buttons 1-8 will control loops 1-8 for that particular GCX just like it does for GCX#1. The Axess switchers do emulate the GCX control interface. Check the Axess manuals for exactly how to set them up for this, usually you have the option to emulate the first or second group of four loops of any numbered GCX.

One feature I'm hoping for is a bit of programability for the expression pedal ports, as well as being able to possibly calibrate an expression pedal.

I have an expression pedal with a toe switch, would like to basically set the toe switch as an IA button (momentary switch on the pedal, configured as latching in the preset). That way, can use the expression pedal as a volume, then hit the toe switch, go to wah, then have it reset per preset. I can get it to behave like a traditional wah now since it has a latching switch, so the value gets sent to my controller and I can click it on and off, but it's nice having it all reset on patch changes on my Axe FX.
