GSP1101 Control 2 and VL control switcher

Trying to run my new VL control switcher with the mentioned foot controller.The switcher doesn't flash when I hold buttons 1&4.When I press the switch 2,it switches the channel on the amp but not the preset for the control 2. Same if I press switch 3,tuens amp channel to 3 but again NOT the preset. I'm slow at this programming thing (it seems NOTHING ever works right, always a hassle)Holding switch 1&4 doesn't memorize the changes.Please help!!

That the Control Switcher does not flash when you try to save indicates that it has not yet received a successful MIDI Program Change at its MIDI In jack. Have you enabled MIDI Program Change Receive and set the MIDI Channel on the Control Switcher yet?

Does your Control Switcher have the Black buttons with Red LEDs next to them or does it have Red buttons that light up when you press them?
