GCX GCP Signal chain

Post by Sandrotech »

hi there,

my signal chain is:
Guitar(Passive) > Shure UR4D Wireless > Board Wah And Volume > GCX Guitar In > Rear Feed Thru > In Loop 1

My question is about impedance. The volume pedal needs to be a low impedance?
I dont use it starting from zero and i feel a little tone change. When 100% is ok.
Could someone help me with this??

Thanks!!!!

If you are routing the volume pedal up front like that you would want a High Impedance type pedal, so like 250k or more.

In a guitar rig it is quite normal for a passive volume pedal to roll off some of the high end when routed up front like that so this may just be what you are experiencing. The volume knob on your guitar may very well do the same thing.

What volume pedal do you have? Have you experimented with placement further down the signal chain?
