Ground Control pro and TC Electronic G Major 2 Tap Tempo Set

I have my ground control setup so that the bottom 4 presets are available per bank. All other buttons will be instant access buttons. I simply want to use one of the ground control pro instant access buttons as a tap tempo for my G major 2. What do I have to do at the ground control end programming side of things? I do not want to use another pedal to control tap tempo.

I noticed in the global menu of the TC G Major 2 when I scroll through it says Tap Tempp cc 88.

You can program one of the Instant Access buttons to control the tempo on the G-Major2. You are one step ahead of the game since you already know that this is going to be done on Control Change #88. Check out the Instant Access section, specifically MIDI Continuous Controller On/Off, in the Ground Control Pro manual under Setup Mode. Here you will see how to set the desired button to send on the required MIDI channel, TC calls this the Basic Channel, as well as how to set this button to send Control Change #88.
