Setting up Amp Gizmo with Ground Control and GCX

I have the Ground Control with the GCX and the Amp Gizmo. Everything but the Amp Gizmo works.

I have looked through all the manuals and have tried to set the amp gizmo to "GCX compaitibilty mode" which reacts to midi channel 16. From what I understand this is the same channel that the GCX reacts to.

Then i have set the amp gizmo on the ground control to channel 16, still nothing.

Is it possible to set up the amp channels to the instant access buttons using the Amp Gizmo? if so, how? if not, how do I set the Gizmo to change with my banked presets?

In order for this to work properly you must NOT name the Amp Gizmo as a device within the Ground Control Pro, nor will you want to set any named device to send on MIDI channel 16. Within the Ground Control Pro, under Setup Mode, enable the appropriate numbered GCX that the Amp Gizmo is programmed to mimic and that should be all there is to it for initial setup.
