I am using a Cymatic UTrack24 which is a unit to play back clicktracks. On the front it has a footswitch Jack input to be able to play/stop. I would like to control this from a dedicated switch on my RJM MIDI foot controller (from MIDI chan 3 or 4). Would the Voodolab Control Switcher enable me to do this or does it only work with amps

Sorry for the delay on getting this post approved! 
The Control Switcher should be able to control just about anything that uses a simple 1/4" footswitch, not just guitar amplifiers.
The MIDI Receive channel is programmable and it can respond to Program Changes and/or Control Changes.
