Separating Instant Access and Midi Functions in different Banks

Post by Pinthalffull »

Hello-

1 GCP connected to an RJM- Effects Gizmo thru 7-pin
4 Presets / Bank with Instant Access setup
All 8 Instant Access buttons are controlling analog pedal through RJM

I'd like to use Bank #1 (1-8) to controller my analog pedals, but then switch to Bank #2 to control my Strymon Timeline looper with midi. I'd like to switch between Bank #1 & Bank #2 without any changes to my analog pedals. Just switch to Bank #2, loop whatever is happening, and then switch back to Bank #1 if I want to change anything on pedals. Hope this makes sense.

Is there any way to do this?

Sorry if this is basic, just seems possible and I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
You can’t do this with the GC Pro, it can’t only bank up and down the presets. The only way to do what you want, with a GC Pro, is with 2 of them. One with the beta firmware 2.0. This will give you 2 banks of 12 instant access switches, so 24. Hope this helps you out.
GCPro, GCX, Pedal Power 2+, Pedal Power AC.
And some other stuff.
