Hey, what's up? This is my first post here and I have added a couple new pre amps to my rig and need a little help My set up has a Mesa Mark IV Rack unit and a Mesa Satellite Rack unit, (2) GCX switchers, G Force FX unit, Mesa Recto Pre Amp, and a ADA MP! Pre amp. So what I would like to do is switch between the 3 pre amps through the Mark's power sections and G Force , running stereo. I did see the one example on the web site using "Y" cables. Would I need to use a "Y" cable with 2 GCX Switchers? Any help would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks..

Re: Rig Set Up
This is an example of switching between 3 preamps from the GCX page:
Multiple Preamps
You need to split the signal into the inputs of all 3 preamps. As long is it is buffered, you can do it with Y cables. If you use the GCX Guitar In, then you have Guitar Out and Feed Thru to get 2 and use a Y-cable for the 3rd. Then use 2 loops as A/B switches to select between the 3 preamp outputs as shown.
If you print the blank GCX worksheet, draw it up and post, someone can check what you're doing.
